The Tortoise and the Hare is the ninth episode of Series 2 of Leonardo. It was first broadcast on the 8th November 2012 on the CBBC network.
Synopsis[]
Angered that Rocco is now duke, Piero continues to plot and encourages Leo to show the design for his super weapon to Rocco. Meanwhile Mac considers his growing feelings for Angelica and decides to tell Lorenzo.
However, Rocco is only intent on avenging is father's death and intends to lead an army to battle against Milan. He refuses to listen to Leo and mocks him leaving Leo angry and determined to prove him wrong while Lorenzo is appalled at Mac for taking a shine to Angelica.
Things go from bad to worse when Leo's show in the piazza goes terribly wrong, angering Rocco and accused of treason for which the penalty is death...

- Lorenzo performs an English version of the famous Carnival Song, written by Lorenzo de' Medici himself. Later, he sings an English translation of the Italian poem "Una dona el cor m'ha tolto".
