The Luminari Symbol - the Greek letter "Lambda"
The Luminari were a sinister secret society, formed for one purpose - to bring about the downfall of the Duke of Florence. They intended to acchive this by obtaining Leonardo da Vinci's Note Book and using his inventions and ideas to create weapons.
Beginnings[]
The Luminari were founded sometime in the 15th Century. They would meet in the catacombs, all wearing hooded robes.
In 1467, the Luminari kidnapped Lisa Gherardini, giving her a fake letter of recommendation to join Verrocchio's Workshop in order to make her steal the Notebook of Leonardo da Vinci. (Anything Is Possible)
Ends[]
Following the failed attempt to use the Mechanical Man to gain the role of Duke, the Luminari appeared to have disbanded in between Series 1 and Series 2. Piero continues to scheme but does this alone with Placidi, now promoted to be his right hand man. (Framed)
