Caporaso was the former right hand man of Piero de' Medici. A common thug for hire and member of the Luminari, he was often sent to do the dirty work that the Luminari needed done and help keep Piero's secret identity safe.

Biography[]

Caporaso was recruited by Piero de Medici to assist the Luminari with their more dubious and questionable tasks. In his first notable appearance he is stalking Leonardo da Vinci through the streets of Florence in an attempt to steal the Notebook. He also abducted Tomaso and brought him to the catacombs to face the Luminari. (Anything is Possible)

Caporaso later killed Professor Pico after he failed to decode the Notebook. (Da Vinci's Code)

Caporaso later came close to assassinating the Duke of Florence but was stopped when Piero decided the Duke would be more popular dead than alive. (Angels and Cherubs)

Caporaso was discovered by Lorenzo de' Medici to be the Mechanical Man terrorising Florence. Later, when Leonardo wore the suit to attack Piero, Piero assumed Caporaso had gone mad but soon realized it to be Da Vinci. (Enter the Robot)

It is unknown what happened to Caporaso after Series 1 but, as Placidi is Piero's right hand man in Series 2, it can be assumed Caporaso outlived his usefulness and was disposed of.
